GuardianRx Rx Scanning and Verification System
The GuardianRx Rx Scanning Module provides for the scanning of hard copy prescriptions, insurance
cards, and other documents into the system. Once scanned into the system, the documents are linked
to the prescription, stored, and able to be displayed as needed at various stages of the dispensing
process.

The GuardianRx Rx Verification Module provides the capability to review key areas related to an
Rx/dispense at various stages of the process for verification and approval purposes. Integrated
with GuardianRx’s workflow queues, the module also allows for tracking and accessing Rx’s at the
various stages of the Rx dispensing process.

The verification screen displays, at a minimum, the scanned Rx, dispense information, drug image
and/or drug imprint, and DUR results. Other information can also be displayed on the screen, such
as information from the claims queue for payment status if desired. The screen also provides
fields for verification initials/signatures. The information on the “verifier” is tracked and
stored in the system.

The verification screen can be accessed at any time in the process after entry of the Rx. The
verification screen is configurable and the individual pharmacy/user is able to filter down to
the areas/data they wish to have displayed to view for verification purposes.
