support staff includes both technicians and pharmacists in order to ensure the highest levels
of competent and personal service. And, whenever you have questions, or need support for any
reason, you have direct and immediate access to our highly responsive support team of professional
technicians and pharmacists – no recorded messages or connections to outsourced support companies
in other countries! You speak directly to an individual who knows who you are and is familiar with
your system and your account.
Support Services Include:
- Weekly price updates for both drug and OTC products via Internet connection.
- Toll–free technical support available Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 6:00pm EST.
- 24 hour emergency support is provided and included in the monthly support fee.
- Support is also available via e-mail during regular and off hours.
- Ongoing program enhancements/upgrades.
- Access to patient-confidential data collection/data sales opportunities.

Clinical database updates including drug–drug, drug–disease, drug–food, and
drug–allergy modules; duplicate therapy messaging; duration of therapy precautions;
patient education leaflets.
- CPT and ICD–9 code updates for accurate CMS/HCFA billing.
With CarePoint, quoted monthly support fees are all-inclusive and there are no extra charges
for price updates, clinical updates, or software updates.
